Use Cases and Prompts

Sample prompts for reporting, diagnostics, and campaign building through the Netcore CE MCP server.

Overview

Once your AI client is connected, you describe what you want in plain English and the assistant picks the tools. This page collects prompts that work well, split into read flows, which are available on every account, and write flows, which need write access enabled.

Example Queries

Here are some examples of what you can ask your AI assistant once connected.

GoalSample prompt
Find campaigns"List all running app push campaigns."
Check performance"What is the CTR for my email campaigns from the last 2 weeks?"
Diagnose delivery"Why did my last app push campaign have a low delivery rate?"
Analyse A/B tests"Which variant won in campaign XYZ?"
Review content"Show me the email content for campaign ABC."
Device insights"How does Android vs iOS performance compare for my push campaigns?"
Click analysis"Which links got the most clicks in my latest email campaign?"
Funnel diagnostics"Show the delivery funnel for campaign DEF — how many users dropped at frequency cap?"
Conversion breakdown"Break down conversions by locale for my Diwali email campaign."

More Read Prompts

These need only read access, which every account with MCP enabled has.

GoalSample prompt
Revenue by channel"Which channel drove the most revenue last month?"
Find a segment"Do we have a segment for lapsed buyers? How many contacts is it?"
Check reachability"How many people in the high value segment can we reach on app push?"
Find a template"Show me the app push templates with Diwali in the name."
Review a template"What does push template 42 actually say?"
List apps"Which apps are set up on this account?"
Check an import"Did the contact list import from this morning finish?"
Find an event"Which tracked events can we use as a conversion goal?"
Check attributes"What profile attributes can I personalize on?"

Write Prompts

These need write access enabled for the account by an Admin. See Access from Netcore Panel.

Every write is confirmed before it happens. The assistant shows you a summary first and applies the change only after you approve it.

Build and Schedule App Push Campaign

The assistant needs an audience, a template, an app, a send time, and a conversion tracking choice before it can create anything. You can give these up front or answer as it asks.

StepSample prompt
Start"Create an app push campaign for our Diwali sale."
Audience"Use the existing high value buyers segment."
Content"Use push template 42."
App"Target the Android app."
Schedule"Schedule it for 5 November at 10am IST."
Conversion"Track the purchase event as the conversion goal."
ReviewThe assistant returns a summary. Check the audience, creative, app, and send time before approving.
Approve"That looks right, create it."

The campaign is created as a draft. It does not send until it is approved.

📘

The reach number in the preview is an estimate

Before a campaign exists, the panel cannot calculate its real reachable audience, because that depends on the campaign's app and opt-outs. The preview shows a segment level estimate. The exact number is returned once the campaign is created.

Approve Campaign Sample Prompt

GoalSample prompt
Approve a draft"Approve the Diwali sale push campaign and make it live."

Send a Test Sample Prompt

GoalSample prompt
Test push"Send a test of the Diwali campaign to my device token."

This sends a real push notification to the device tokens you supply, using the campaign's own saved content.

Create a Segment

StepSample prompt
Describe"Build a segment of users who bought in the last month but haven't opened the app in 15 days."
ReviewThe assistant returns the audience count and how many are reachable on push. Nothing is saved yet.
Save"Save that as Lapsed recent buyers."

Build App Push Template

GoalSample prompt
New template"Create an Android push template titled 'Your cart misses you' with a countdown timer and a Shop now button."
Edit a template"Update template 42 so the message reads ... "

Updating a template does not change campaigns that already use it. To change what a live campaign sends, update the campaign as well.

Import Contacts Sample Prompts

StepSample prompt
Create the list"Create a contact list called Webinar signups November."
Import"Import contacts into it from this CSV URL: ..."
Track"Has that import finished?"

The CSV must be at a URL the server can download. The import returns a job ID and runs in the background, so check its status rather than expecting it to finish immediately.

Sample Incorrect Prompts

Refer to the table below to understand which prompts wont work and why.

PromptWhy
"Create an email campaign for the sale."App Push is the only channel that can be created through MCP. Ask for a push campaign, or build the email campaign in the panel.
"Edit the WhatsApp template."Template creation and editing is available for App Push only.
"Delete the old campaigns."There is no delete tool on the server.
"Build me a split test."Only regular campaigns are supported. Split and A/B campaigns are not.
"Send this campaign to everyone now."Campaigns are created as drafts and must be approved before they send.
